Geostrategy-Direct is reporting this morning that the Iraqi government has been lobbying Congress and major U.S. DoD contractors for the sale of F-16s to the Iraqi Air Force. The authors said the government of Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki wanted a decision before the end of the Bush administration in January 2009.
