Michel Merluzeau - Vice President, Market Analysis. Founder.
Prior to joining G2 Solutions, Michel spent over ten years at Frost & Sullivan's Silicon Valley headquarters in California as analyst and then Director for Airborne Systems research. In addition, he spent three years at the Frost & Sullivan European headquarters in London, England, directing a core group of consultants and analysts. Michel's projects ranged from complex end-user surveys to new product launch strategies, regional market entry programs, and acquisition strategies. Furthermore, Michel has been involved in numerous forecasting and analysis projects for civilian and military markets including fighter, transport, regional and business aircraft as well as helicopter markets. A graduate of the University of Provence in France, Michel is also a regular speaker at the Speednews Defense Supplier conference, Frost & Sullivan Competitive Intelligence conferences, and several Avionics magazine conferences. John G. Mays - Founder & Advisor
Prior to joining G2 Solutions, Mr. Mays
worked with SAIC after opportunities with Computer Sciences
Corporation, IBM, and the ownership and successful sale of two
of his companies. He has been a sought after reference for
international affairs and corporate business development and
Mr. Mays has created, led, and grew both channel organizations and high-performance sales teams. He has consistently delivered results and maintained long-term relationships with Fortune 500 companies and Federal and State Government.
While working with SAIC, John Mays started the Market Research and Analysis program, providing insight and market opportunities into several proposals and ongoing programs throughout the organization. Mr. Mays’ primary responsibility included supporting the line organizations in driving sales by providing insight on competitive intelligence, market positioning, research, and capture support.
Mr. Mays holds a Masters in Management Information Sciences from George Washington University.
Garrick Ngai, MBA, Consultant Analyst, Defense Markets
Garrick has many years of experience in the aerospace & defense industry in the Canadian Armed Forces and in the private sector. He advised defense contractors, financial institutions and government agencies on aerospace & defense marketing, strategy and government relations. He was at L-3 and Frost & Sullivan before joining G2.
From 2005 to 2006, Garrick worked as an economic analyst at NATO Allied Command Transformation and supported ISAF operations and multinational experimentation. Garrick also served in the Canadian Army Reserves as a signals officer.
Garrick holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto and a Bachelor of International Business (High Honors) degree from Carleton University in Ottawa. He is active member of the Ontario Aerospace Council and the Royal Canadian Military Institute. He is also an advisor to the Canadian Department of National Defence public affairs on defence industrial relations.
Jorge Ramirez, Advisor
Jorge Ramirez is an advisor for G2 Solutions, having served previously as senior analyst for consulting projects and responsible for providing strategic analysis and forecast. Jorge Ramirez has extensive experience as a Business Development and Marketing executive in highly respected, industry leading firms as well as small to medium size companies. Mr. Ramirez’s expertise lies in assisting companies achieve sales and earnings growth objectives and sustainability in diverse geographical markets by developing and executing sound strategic plans. Mr. Ramirez’s background includes establishing strategic partnerships and joint ventures, working with a wide variety of staff disciplines and leading new business development activities domestically and in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. Prior to joining G2 Solutions, Jorge served as Vice President for G&G International, an aircraft systems integration company based in Texas. Jorge also worked as a marketing manager for Raytheon airborne systems in El Segundo and served as the Latin America regional director for Sensis corporation. Jorge Ramirez holds degree from the Catholic University or America and the University of California, Los Angeles.
Ron Stearns – Senior Consultant, Unmanned Systems
Ron brings more than 15 years of market research and consulting experience to G2 Solutions. Ron was the director of aerospace & defense consulting, North America for Frost & Sullivan prior to joining G2 Solutions. In close to 10 years at F&S, Ron conducted syndicated market analysis and research in commercial remote sensing and GPS markets, government and commercial launch services, aircraft and avionics, DoD acquisition, simulation and training markets and others. Ron authored or co-authored more than 14 reports on geotechnologies, modeling, simulation and training, commercial launch services, aerospace materials and commercial synthetic aperture radar (SAR) markets.
Ron’s research and opinions are regularly quoted in publications as diverse as the New York Post, Space News, Aviation Week & Space Technology, the Denver Post, the Toronto Globe and Mail, Space Business International and others. Prior to F&S, Ron worked as a project administrator of a small marketing firm, working with companies that marketed fire suppression systems, motion detectors, airport equipment and remote-sensing imagery. Ron also worked for two years as a freelance writer, copy editor, and photographer for a 100,000-circulation daily newspaper. Ron holds a master’s degree (Public Administration) from California Lutheran University and a bachelor’s degree (Journalism) from Pepperdine University.
