Airborne Surveillance solutions consist of Manned and Un-manned
Fixed wing and Rotary Wing aircraft equipped with customized
mission suites (airborne sensors and equipment) for performing
surveillance and reconnaissance missions over land (Overland
Surveillance) and / or over the ocean (Maritime Surveillance).
Airborne surveillance systems have become increasingly important
worldwide for conducting security monitoring, control of
national borders, protecting the Sovereignty and Patrimony of
nations, as well as ensuring the implementation of International
Treaties, just to name a few.
G2 Solutions estimates that approximately 2,300 aircraft are
dedicated to airborne surveillance globally. This estimate
excludes branches of the US, China and Russian armed forces.
